An Evening of Poetry and Prose (9/18) Thursday, September 18th, 2025 at 7pm PST Join us for an evening of poetry featuring local poets Katja Bartholmess, Greg Mania, Jessamyn Violet, Andra Knox, Michael Narkunski, Hugo Rooves, Sammy Ginsberg, and Charlie Stuip. This reading will also include a fundraiser with tons of prizes to benefit Heavy Manners Library!
International Poetry Film Festival, Los Angeles, 2025 Official Selection
The fourth season of the International Poetry Film Festival, Los Angeles features screenings of nearly 40 poem-based films from around the world, including selections from France, Canada, El Salvador, Ireland, the United States, among other countries. All films will be screened in The Wanda Coleman Theater.
Join us for a day full of poetry on the big screen! The official schedule for the festival’s program will include a variety of experimental, narrative, documentary, and animated poem-based films. We are thrilled to showcase the work of filmmakers and poets pushing the boundaries of their artistic disciplines to create a whole new experience for lovers of both art forms.
